Prof. Dr. Saffa Riffat, DPhil (Oxford), DSc (Oxford), Emeritus Professor at the University of Nottingham, has secured over £120 million in research grants, authored more than 650 refereed papers, holds 30 international patents, was elected Fellow of the European Academy of Sciences, and won the Euro Solar Prize, Energy Globe Award, UK Engineering and Innovation Awards, Rushlight Awards and the CIBSE Baker Silver Medal; he serves as President of WSSET, Chairman of the SET Conference and Editor-in-Chief of several high-impact academic journals.

At the University of Southampton, he heads the Energy & Climate Change Division and leads the Sustainable Energy Research Group (ECCD). Professor James Riffat is an engineer specialising in building technologies, sustainable energy systems, and climate-focused solutions. He is CEO of the World Society of Sustainable Energy Technologies (WSSET), promoting international collaboration and knowledge exchange in sustainable engineering. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Devrim Aydin, Eastern Mediterranean University, Cyprus
Associate Professor Dr Devrim Aydin is a mechanical engineer at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Eastern Mediterranean University.
